Working on Deliverables

A Deliverable, be it photos or videos, is your creative masterpiece for your clients. In this Brkaway Brkdown we’ll delve into the various elements that make up a Deliverable and how Brkaway streamlines the entire delivery process.

Welcome to the heart of collaboration - Deliverables on Brkaway! A Deliverable, be it photos or videos, is your creative masterpiece for your clients. In this Brkaway Brkdown we’ll delve into the various elements that make up a Deliverable and how Brkaway streamlines the entire delivery process.

Getting Started with Deliverables

As soon as you add a Deliverable to a Collab or merge a shared Collab to your account, you’ll find all Collab Deliverables on your Content Board. Clicking into a Deliverable will pull up the Deliverable Page.

A Deliverable consists of three Stages and each Stage has its own unique set of features. The three Stages are:

  1. Concept
  2. Content
  3. Post

Below we’ll cover when a Deliverable Stage is required, what you can do in each Deliverable Stage and what happens when Deliverable Stages are in review.

Making a Deliverable Stage Required

When creating a Deliverable, you’ll be asked to enter Due Dates for any Stages that you want to track. For any Stage with a Due Date, Brkaway will automatically remind you when those Stages are due and will require that Stage to be completed.

If a Deliverable Stage does not have a Due Date, the Stage will not require completion.

Concept Stage

The Concept Stage is where you and your Reviewers can put together the written details of a Content idea prior to shooting. By default, this Stage will come with fields that both you and your Reviewers can edit.

If you created the Deliverable you’ll also be able to add your own custom fields and delete any fields you do not need.

Note, the fields in the Concept Stage can still be used without entering a Concept Due Date. This means you can plan a Concept without getting reminders or having to formally submit it for review.

Content Stage

The Content Stage allows you to upload video and photo assets directly to the page. These assets will be stored on the Deliverable to make viewing and reviewing them simple. Plus having all your assets stored directly on the Deliverable means finding them will be easier than ever! No more digging through your Google Drive to find assets.

Posting Stage

In the Posting Stage you can keep track of all your posting dates. Here you’re able to configure posting dates per social platform, and mark Deliverables as posted.

You can also select a specific social platform and add a URL to the live content posted to that social platform for easy reference later!

Review Stages

Brkaway comes with a preconfigured review process that makes getting approvals on Concepts and Content a breeze!

Whenever you give the Concept Stage or Content Stage a Due Date, you’ll be able to submit the Stage for review. Any Stage in review will be outlined in orange and your Reviewers will see “Approve” and “Request Changes” buttons in the Stage header.

In the event that a Reviewer “Requests Changes”, you’ll be notified and the Deliverable will move back to the previous Stage. However, if the Stage is approved by a Reviewer, you’ll be notified but this time the Deliverable will automatically progress to the next required Stage. If there is no next Stage, the Deliverable will be marked as Delivered.

The Deliverable Page makes it easy for you and your client to effortlessly collaborate and produce amazing content!
