Sharing a Collab

Reminding creators to add content to a Google Folder you created, to then have to give feedback over an email is a thing of the past. Now that your Collab is ready, let’s show you how to share it with your creator to make content submissions and approvals a breeze. Welcome to the future! In this Brkaway Brkdown we’re talking sharing Collabs.

Once you’ve Built a Collab it's time to share it with your creator. To share the Collab simply click the “Share” button at the top of the page. You’ll be given the choice to enter an optional message prior to sharing the Collab. 

Once shared, your creator will gain access to the Collab and be able to merge it to their Brkaway account. They’ll also be able to leave you comments in the activity section and add files to the document tab.

If your creator has not merged a Collab to their account, you’ll see a banner on both the Collab and all associated Collab deliverables. If you’d like to follow up with the creator, you can reshare the Collab at any point you like! 

When your creator merges the Collab you’ll receive a notification and you're off to the races. It’s time to start watching the content flow in with ease!

Note: A creator can start working on a Collab as soon as you’ve shared it with them. But if they haven’t merged the Collab the creator will not receive notifications of changes to the Collab or deliverables. We always recommend you encourage creators to merge Collabs to their Brkaway account.
