Welcome to the heart of collaboration - Deliverables on Brkaway! A Deliverable, be it photo or video, is content that you’re expecting from a creator. In this Brkaway Brkdown we’ll dive into the various elements that make up a Deliverable and how Brkaway streamlines the entire delivery process from submission to approval to post.
As soon as you add a Deliverable to a Collab or merge a shared Collab to your account, you’ll find all Collab Deliverables on your Content Board. Clicking into a Deliverable will pull up the Deliverable Page.
A Deliverable consists of three different stages and each stage has its own unique set of features. The three stages are:
Below we’ll cover when a deliverable stage is required for a given deliverable, what you can do in each deliverable, stage and what happens when deliverable stages are in review.
When creating a deliverable you’ll be asked to enter due dates for any stages that you want the creator to submit. This means if you want the creator to submit a concept for review, you must enter a concept due date, if you want the creator to submit content for review, you must submit a content due date and so on.
If a deliverable stage does not have a due date the stage will not be required.
Creators will get automatic reminders to complete any stage that has a due date assigned.
The concept stage is where you and your creator can put together the details of a content idea before capturing any content. By default this stage will come with fields that both you and your creator can edit.
If you created the deliverable you’ll also be able to add your own custom fields and delete any fields you do not require.
Note: The fields in the concept stage can still be used without entering a concept due date. This means you and your creator can leave concept notes without formally submitting a concept for review.
This stage allows creators to upload video and photo assets directly to the page. These assets will be stored on the deliverable to make viewing and reviewing them simple. Each deliverable can contain as many assets as you or your creator wish.
In the posting stage you can keep track of all creator and brand posting dates. Here you’re able to configure posting dates per platform, and mark deliverables as posted.
You can also enter platform links to make it easy to reference live deliverables.
Brkaway comes with a preconfigured review process that makes giving approvals on Concepts and Content a breeze.
Whenever you provide either the Concept of Content stage with a due date, your creator has the option to submit the stage for review. Any stage in review will be outlined in orange and the Approve and Request Changes buttons will appear in the stage header.
In the event you request changes, your creator will be notified and the deliverable will not progress to the next required stage. If you approve the stage, the creator will once again be notified but this time the deliverable will automatically progress to the next required stage. If there is no next stage, the deliverable will be marked as delivered.
The Deliverable page makes it easy for you and your creator to effortlessly collaborate to make the best possible content.
