Tired of messaging one client on Whatsapp, another in iMessage, a third over email, and a fourth via carrier pigeon. Great news, those days are over! In this Brkaway Brkdown we’ll show you how Brkaway’s messaging feature allows you to manage all your client conversations in one place.
To create a message on Brkaway simply head to the Messages tab and click the “New Message” button. Once pressed a new empty message will appear. From here you’ll be able to choose who you want to send the message to by filling in the “To:” field. In this field you’ll be able to search for any contact you’ve previously worked with on Brkaway or you can enter your clients email address.
Once again, the recipient of the message does not require a Brkaway Account. If your client doesn’t have a Brkaway account, your message will trigger an email that your client can directly reply to. When your client replies to that email, the response will be automatically logged to the message thread you created!
If your client does already have a Brkaway account, they’ll be able to reply to your message directly in their Brkaway dashboard.
When composing a message don’t forget you can append attachments to your text by clicking the paperclip icon!
Currently Brkaway only supports messages to a single recipient. We’ll be working on allowing you to create group messages soon so more on that in future updates!
Whenever you receive a Message, whether it’s a reply to a message you created or a message created and sent to you by a client already using Brkaway, the conversation will be captured and organised in the Messages tab of your Brkaway account. You’ll also receive an in app notification and email letting you know you have a new unread message.
At any point in time, the number icon beside the Messages tab will indicate the number of unread messages you currently have.
