Introduce yourself!
I'm a content creator based in San Diego, CA. Into all things wellness and mindful living. I've been riding the content creation wave for about a year and a half now, and honestly it's been such a rewarding ride! When I'm not creating content for brands, I love going to hot yoga, going to the beach, and making memories with my loved ones.
Why did you become a creator?
I jumped into content creation because I wanted to challenge myself and learn something fresh. Seeing influencers make waves out there, I figured, why not give it a shot? Plus, I needed a space to let my creativity loose and honestly, I love the whole vibe of connecting with folks through my own stories and personality.
What is your favourite part about being a creator?
I honestly just love the process of putting a video together — it's cool to watch my clips, music, and edits turn into something that can be inspiring. I also love getting to work with brands from different industries. It's like I've found this perfect intersection of living out my passion of entertainment and also getting to be creative.
What does a typical content day look like for you?
On a typical content day, I start by going over the brand briefs—gotta double-check I've got everything I need and that my shot list is all set. Then, it's go-time. I dive into shooting, which can take anywhere from 1 to 3 hours, depending on how complex the content is. Once that's wrapped up, I jump straight into editing, making sure everything looks right. It's a process but seeing the final piece come together is totally worth it!
Do you have any advice/pointers for new creators?
Show your uniqueness! Your authentic self is your greatest asset in content creation. Don't fear being a beginner, everyone starts somewhere! View rejection as a stepping stone, not a setback. If something’s not working, pivot. Commit to continued learning for your craft.
Anything else you'd like to share about your creator journey to date?
Jumping into content creation has been a wild ride, full of ups, downs, and learning curves I never saw coming. I've had my share of "What am I even doing?" moments and times when putting myself out there felt like the hardest thing, but it's the small wins—like receiving positive feedback from a brand—that keep me going.
