Introduce yourself!

My name is Rebecca and I am a content creator, dog mom, and fitness enthusiast that lives in Central Florida. When I’m not making content for brands or my own TikTok channel you can find me making magic at Disney, hanging out with my dogs, or attempting a DIY around the house.

Why did you become a creator?

I became a creator during the pandemic because like most people, I had some extra time on my hands. It looked like a fun, creative outlet and it was an opportunity to learn a new skill. I went into it with zero expectations but have been pleasantly surprised with how well it’s going!

What is your favourite part about being a creator?

My favorite part about being a creator is getting to be creative. I think each creator has their own unique style of making a video and it’s been fun to try out different things and find my style and niches.

What does a typical content day look like for you?

Everyday looks a little different for me when it comes to content creation and it really depends on which brand I’m working with. Some require me to venture outside my home and some require that most of my content is made using my computer. If I had to summarize it I would say I spend one day writing scripts and doing market research for a brand or product, and then the following day I’ll film all the parts of the video, and the third day I’ll do all my editing and video submissions.

Do you have any advice/pointers for new creators?

My advice for new creators would be to just start. You will learn so much as you go, and chances are when you look back, you probably won’t like your first few videos! And that’s okay, because that shows growth! Don’t worry about what other people will say or think, no one who is ever doing more than you will have anything negative to say. Get out of your comfort zone and allow yourself to learn and be creative.

Anything else you'd like to share about your creator journey to date?

The best piece of advice I ever got and I can give is to not burn yourself out with one off projects. Find a few brands you enjoy and work with them long term. Having 5 quality and long term clients will always be better than having several more projects that don’t lead to continuous work, that is a recipe for burnout.
