Introduce yourself!
I am an entrepreneur, a mom, and a millennial. Since my early 20’s I've owned a fashion business, a product-based supplement brand, and worked in real estate. I am also a multifaceted individual with (self-diagnosed) ADHD. This means that I am obsessed with learning new skills and always love to try new things. My work experience has been in a variety of fields, and I have learned a great deal along the way which is now essential to my approach to content creation.
Why did you become a creator?
About a year and a half ago, local friends started asking me to help them with content for their businesses, as they knew I was good at it. As I took on these projects and reconnected with my creative side, word of mouth spread and other local businesses started hiring me. I believe that thinking outside the box, being creative, and always being hungry to learn more is essential in this industry. This is who I am by nature, and it is why I eventually started creating content for brands full-time. As I shared my work, it quickly moved from local businesses to national brands. I am so grateful to be able to enjoy the work I do, and I honestly have fun every day!
What is your favourite part about being a creator?
The most gratifying part of being a creator is the happy clients! But also..a gratifying part of the process is when ideas flow to me. It's exciting to visualize an idea in my head, then concept it out (Brkaway is so helpful with that). Watching my ideas come to fruition in the edits is incredibly satisfying.
